The certificate recognizes student accomplishments at the graduate level in successfully completing a specialized program of study in Satellite System Design (SSD). It blends courses from the Smead Department of Aerospace Engineering Sciences, Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering and Engineering Management Departments. The certificate will allow you to develop interdisciplinary skills in the area of satellite design and be more desirable to potential employers.

  • 1 course from elective list

Admission Requirements

Requirements for a Graduate Certificate in Satellite System Design:

  1. Approval of your SSD course selections.
  2. Email your assigned Gradate Advisor: Waleska Rivera-Shon (last names A-K) or Nicole Simmons (last names L-Z) to register as a certificate-seeking student.
  3. Completion, with a grade of B or better, of all required courses.
  4. Upon completion of your courses, fill out the certificate request form and submit it to your assigned Gradate Advisor, Waleska Rivera-Shon (last names A-K) or Nicole Simmons (last names L-Z).
