The Leeds business minor is open to all CU undergraduates who want to gain business fundamentals to increase their immediate impact as new hires. Learning about business means gaining practical skills relevant to all industries: problem-solving, teamwork, public speaking, data analysis and more. In addition, business knowledge expands your understanding of opportunities across fields and can help you determine where you fit best.

  • Select a business minor emphasis in innovation and entrepreneurship, business analytics, business leadership, global business, or real estate

Academic Plan & Requirements

The business minor is a 12-credit program designed to supplement any major at CU Boulder and can be completed in as little as two semesters. It consists of foundational classes in marketing, management, accounting and finance, followed by a choice of five track options. The minor concludes with a business plan development project where students showcase their work at a semiannual business competition and celebration.
