In one of the premier communication programs in the world, CU Boulder’s master’s and PhD degrees prepare you to analyze and influence human interaction in work, personal and civic life.

Master of Arts in Communication

  • Can be completed in 2 years
  • May choose a thesis or comprehensive examination option
  • Minimum of 30 graduate credit hours required

Doctor of Philosophy in Communication

  • Can be completed in 4 years
  • Must enroll in residence for at least 6 semesters beyond BA degree
  • Must complete 2 research projects before taking comprehensive examination
