The certificate in global environmental affairs links and develops knowledge of global environmental policies and practices. From climate change to industrial needs, be at the heart of conservation with an understanding of economic factors. Our students enrich their educational experience through applied learning and fieldwork, which also prepare them for career success after graduation.

Academic Plan & Requirements

To earn the certificate, students must complete a minimum of 19 credit hours. The certificate is open to all majors at CU Boulder and includes both formal coursework and a 3-credit off-campus experiential component.
