Bio

I am a Midwest girl at heart, but have lived in Colorado for 12 years and consider it home. I am a mom to three teenage girls, plus we have two female dogs; my poor husband can never seem to catch a break.  In my free time I enjoy cross-stitching, walking our pups Autumn and Tessa, experimenting with cooking and baking, reading a good mystery novel, or watching Below Deck (secret shame). I love Diet Coke, and hate rosemary and olives.

Favorite Spot Around CU Campus

I love the Center for Academic and Success (CASE) as it is always active and vibrant, full of students, staff, faculty, and guests.

Best Part About Your Job

I was a first-generation college student, from a small farming town, and had no idea how college worked. I have the opportunity, every day, to help students and their families learn more about CU Boulder and how college works, through the visit experiences we offer on campus. Getting to help students "find their fit" is a very rewarding opportunity. When a student's face lights up because they have found their people and the place where they really belong, there is nothing else like it. I sometimes cannot believe I get paid to do this each and every day!
