Women’s History Month — March 22, 2023

In celebration of Women’s History Month, we’d like to highlight the following student organizations on campus. We encourage students to get involved and for faculty to share these opportunities.

  • Society of Women Engineers (SWE), CU Boulder Chapter
    • SWE focuses on professional development, outreach, and community building.
    • Weekly meetings are Tuesdays, 6-7 pm in the BOLD center.

  • CU Women of Color in STEM (WoC STEM)
    • WoC STEM strives to build community and advance the careers of women of color majoring in STEM. Past events they’ve hosted include a movie night, 3D printing workshop, and resume workshop.
    • Consider attending their clothing swap tonight, March 22nd, 6-7 pm in DLC 1B65.
  • Women in Construction (WIC)​
    • Through guest speakers, events, networking, and fun activities, WIC hopes to inspire women to pursue a construction career whether that’s in management, labor, engineering, or business.
    • Weekly meetings are Monday 8 – 9 pm in ECCR 108.
  • Women in Science & Engineering at CU-Boulder (WiSE)
    • WiSE is a supportive community for women and minorities in STEM fields to share experiences, advice, and ideas. They empower members to pursue meaningful and successful careers. WiSE has a mentoring program pairing students with STEM professionals.
