Our eighteen credit hour program offers undergraduates of all majors a regional studies curriculum spanning the natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities. Students take the introductory and capstone courses, and select four more courses from our list. In this way, students piece together a survey of the American West in line with their own unique interests.
We believe in community, and in helping students to feel more at home within the larger university. And so, we host dinners each semester at which students and faculty can get to know eachother and various noteworthy featured guests in a more social, off-campus environment. Students enrolled in our program are also eligible to apply for the Beardsley Family Scholarship. And all CU Boulder students are welcome to enter our annual Thompson Awards writing contest.
