The Certificate in Peace, Conflict, and Security (PACS) focuses on the sources of—and solutions to—conflict and violence that pervade contemporary global society. Students completing the certificate will learn how destructive conflict develops in interpersonal, group, organizational and international settings, and how to constructively manage and transform them. Related courses cover interdisciplinary concepts and theories and develop practical skills for analyzing and intervening in conflict. As a result, students will be better prepared to contribute to the creation of more just, equitable, and peaceful world.

For further information, see the Peace, Conflict, and Security Program's website. We invite interested students to contact PACS Associate Director Michael English at Michael.D.English@colorado.edu.
