Bio

I'm originally from Michigan where I am a proud member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians. I love the snow, and have recently started snowboarding again (Winter Park, woo!) for the first time since high school. One thing I don't miss about Michigan is the long grey winters! I enjoy hiking, especially with my dog, Misty, a 70lb rescue mutt who enjoys treats and taking up more of the couch than is reasonable. I have two kids who keep me up to date on all the Gen Alpha slang, but don't expect to hear me use it!

Favorite Spot Around CU Campus

I love the BioLounge at the CU Museum of Natural History! A great quiet space to read a book or meet a friend, with constantly changing exhibits. I love the energy of the rest of the museum as well, it's a hidden gem, check it out!

Best Part About Your Job

The best part about my job is welcoming students to campus and showing them how higher education can be accessible for them. Every person brings unique passions and skills and I love finding ways to connect those passions to the opportunities here at CU, as well as to the support and resources to make it possible. I truly believe there is a place at CU for everyone. Ask me about your passion, and how you can fit in at CU!
