FULL TIME POSITIONS IN STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING
KL&A is seeking motivated graduates in Architectural, Structural, or Civil engineering with a structural emphasis, with minimum M.S. degrees, to fill fulltime positions in our Colorado and Wyoming offices.

Who we are:
We are a nationally recognized forward thinking structural engineering and construction firm with four offices in Colorado and Wyoming. Check out www.klaa.com, and be sure to visit the careers page.

The work we do:
We do a wide variety of work around the country ranging from commercial structures to very high-end homes with local and international architects. We work with all materials and in places with considerable structural challenges: high snow loads, high seismic loads, mountainous sites. We also do mid and high rise and high-density urban projects. In particular, KL&A is distinguished by a broad palette of expanded services including steel detailing, designer-led design/build, and construction management, all driven by a thriving structural engineering business, and led by structural engineers. We have been a leader in BIM for over 22 years, as well as in sustainable design.

The work you would do:
Entry level engineers at KL&A are involved in a full range of responsibilities – every aspect of our business appropriate to your abilities and ambitions. We believe drawing and modeling are part of the design process and all project
engineers produce contract documents using Revit. They perform structural analysis and design calculations both by hand and by using a variety of proprietary and in-house software tools. Importantly, they also communicate to internal and external clients, so written and verbal communication skills are highly valued.
A sound knowledge of fundamental principles of engineering is assumed. Enthusiasm and a passion for solving problems are essential.
