JLM is currently seeking an entry-level Civil Engineer to join a major construction project in the Denver area. Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage subcontractors
- Adjust and monitor project schedule
- Support contracts and the project superintendent
- Update and maintenance of logs for all RFIs, drawings, change directives, contractor change requests, inspection reports, safety notices, etc.
- Support field operations with cost controls and scheduling
- Support with materials purchasing
- Responsible for making sure all documents are in compliance
- Coordination of the Request for Information (RFI), change order, submittal and drawing process.
- Coordination of construction contract correspondence, input & maintenance of project information and status reports
- The receipt, review & distribution, and maintenance of project related documents
- Perform other support duties, as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Internships are a plus
- Dynamic personality

- Strong Microsoft office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Professional manner
- Construction industry knowledge preferred
- Familiarity with CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is also preferable
