Associate Professor Steven Ayer
Steven Ayer is joining the department as an associate professor in the area of construction engineering management. The focus of his research is exploring how new and emerging visualization technologies, including augmented and virtual reality, can support students and practitioners in building construction contexts.
Bob Davis, Scholar in Residence
Bob Davis, PhD, is joining the department as a scholar in residence and director of professional lighting education, but he is no stranger to CU Boulder or the department. In his current role he supports educational activities focused on professional audiences, such as the professional graduate certificate in architectural lighting and programs offered through the Rocky Mountain Lighting Academy.
Ben Stanford, Scholar in Residence
Ben Stanford, PhD, is joining the department as a scholar in residence, bringing practical consulting experience to the courses he teaches. He is also an associate vice president with Hazen and Sawyer in the Denver office, where he leads the implementation of innovations in water, wastewater and water reuse.
Professor Amir Behzadan
Amir Behzadan is joining the department as a professor in the area of construction engineering management. His research focuses on investigating grand challenges at the intersection of the society and built/natural environments through the design, validation and dissemination of human-centered, responsible and affordable AI/ML solutions.
