Fourteen recent graduates from Civil Environmental and Architectural Engineering are receiving recognition for their contributions during their studies at CU Boulder!

The Colorado Engineering Council awards the Silver Medal Award to one student, nominated by each department based on scholarship, achievements, involvement in community or college service, leadership and research. This year, CEAE student, Michael Anthony, was a finalist for the Silver Medal Award.

The College of Engineering and Applied Science also recognized Michael Anthony as Outstanding Graduate for International Engagement, and Elvin Viloria as Outstanding Graduate for Service.

Three students (Michael Anthony, Andrew Beel, and Bryce Armknecht) are recognized for the Milo S. Ketchum Award. The award winners are selected by the CEAE Awards Committee from students with high academic standing as well as contributions to educational and extracurricular activities, including service to engineering student societies and the community.

Students were also recognized for CEAE Outstanding Graduate Awards for research (Kelly Sheeran, Andrew Beel, and Powell Hinson), international engagement (Jessica Hendricks, Bridger Baird, and Evan Valencia), academic achievement (Skyler Fussner, Andrew Beel, and Madison McNamee), service (Moises Bonilla), and leadership (Anika Pietenpol). Additionally, one graduate (Steven Wilder) received special recognition as Outstanding Graduate Overall in Environmental Engineering.
