Bio

Transitioning from the Appalachian Mountains of Tennessee, I’ve found a new home amidst the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Previously, I worked in nonprofit spaces and I am excited to now work in higher education at an institution that values positive impact on humanity. Outside of work, you will mostly find me exploring the natural wonders that Colorado has to offer or traveling to new places. My favorite souvenirs from my travels are usually something I pick up from a local coffee shop or a piece of art.

Favorite Spot Around CU Campus

Varsity Lake, a serene and somewhat hidden gem on campus. It’s bordered by the stunning McKenna Languages building and is dotted with benches. An arch-decorated bridge crosses the lake, casting a lovely reflection on the water. This peaceful spot is ideal for relaxation, and if you’re lucky, see ducklings in the spring.

Best Part About Your Job

As I work with our student employees, I have the unique opportunity to not only guide prospective students but also to witness current students as they progress on their academic journey.  It’s truly a privilege to work with such dynamic and inspiring young professionals.
