Water Resources Engineering Research Assistant
The Hydro-Urban Bhaskar (HUB) research group is seeking a CU undergraduate student as a research assistant for field work and other research studying the how lawn irrigation becomes urban streamflow.
Start Date: ASAP or Jan. 2026
Hours:Up to 10 hours/week, available to continue through a 2026 summer internship.
Pay: Hourly
Required qualifications: Reliability and a valid driver’s license.
Ideal (but not required) qualifications: Civil engineering or environmental engineering major with interest in water resources and access to a vehicle that can be driven for field work (mileage will be reimbursed).

Field work will involve monitoring hydrologic conditions in a developing watershed in Parker, Colorado with other undergraduate research assistants and graduate researchers. Some research tasks will be computer-based (could be completed remotely), while others will be providing assistance in SEEC (East Campus).
Research work will be paid hourly.
