Environmental Engineering
The environmental engineering program focuses on the fundamental and applied understanding of the processes which govern natural and engineered treatment systems and the effects that they have on human and ecosystem health. Research areas covered within the program include:
- Water and waste water treatment
- Fate and transport of organic contaminants
- Energy and resource recovery
- Air quality
- Sustainability
- Engineering education
- Engineering for developing communities
We offer both MS and PhD degrees in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Environmental Engineering. For full details about our academic programs in environmental engineering, please visit the Environmental Engineering Program website.
