K & A Contruction: Assistant Project Manager

K&A Construction is currently accepting applicants for the position of Assistant Project Manager. K&A is a quickly growing company, specializing in carpentry work. Our workload is primarily residential decks, and framing as a subcontractor (both commercial and residential). An assistant project manager at our company would have a hands on and varied experience compared to working at a larger general contracting firm. Opportunities are available for both summer work and long term employment.

Position type: Paid, Full Time - Hourly or Salary

Position duties and requirements:
– Prepare deck permit drawing sets using sketch up (sketch up/layout
proficiency required)
– Work with project architect and engineer to prepare detailed shop drawings
for commercial projects
– Interpret and organize architectural drawings for estimating
– Help with material acquisition
– Communicate with clients, subcontractors and project leads to optimize
schedule and work flow
– Manage company website, social media and online platforms
