Evan Thomas receives $950,000 appropriations award for water quality monitoring

Professor Evan Thomas was highlighted in the Wall Street Journal for his work in financing water security through voluntary carbon markets. Additionally, he received a $950,000 congressional appropriations award through Rep. Joe Neguse for water quality monitoring in two Colorado rivers. Thomas is also the director of the Mortenson Center in Global Engineering.
