Our internships are designed to provide students an opportunity to learn about the business, how to perform the project management functions, and to prepare students for the future. The Student Intern will gain experience in construction project management by working closely with customers, business developers, and Project Managers to ensure projects are competitively bid and meet the needs of the client. The Intern will provide support to PM’s, Field Engineers, and Superintendents throughout the installation and commissioning phases of projects as needed.
We are seeking students with a high attention to detail and an appreciation for professionalism to work approximately 15-20 hours per week between 9 am and 5 pm. We would prefer a consistent schedule that accommodates your academic commitments. This is a paid internship with a great team and could extend well beyond the school year.
As a Student Intern, you will learn and assist with:
- Preparing and updating project schedules
- Estimating
- Coordination of submittals
- Change order pricing and documentation
- Project labor analysis and reports
- Project buyout (subcontracts, purchase/service orders)
- Monthly and weekly reports
- Job site visits
Qualifications
- College Junior or Senior in a Construction Management program or similar field
- Availability to work approximately 15-20 hours per week between 9 am and 5 pm in our Boulder, CO office
