Lynch's research focuses on biomechanics, 3D tissue engineering and cancer. Her project is titled “Dysfunctional Osteocyte Mechanoresponse in Tumor-induced Bone Disease.”

Vance's research focuses on indoor and outdoor air pollution, dynamics of ultrafine aerosols, and consumer exposure to incidental or engineered nanomaterials. Her project is titled "Physical Transformations of Aerosols after Transport Between Indoor and Outdoor Environments."

Baker's research focuses on power systems, smart grids, renewable energy, building-to-grid optimization and applications of machine learning in energy. Her project is titled “Learning-Assisted Optimal Power Flow with Confidence.”

Cook's research interests include resource recovery from wastewater, sustainable design and anaerobic wastewater treatment. Her project is titled "An Integrated Research and Education Plan to Navigate Tradeoffs in the Design of Sustainable and Resilient Water Reuse Systems."

Grochow's research focuses on understanding the ultimate limits of computation (computational complexity), especially in their two-way relationship with algebraic geometry, representation theory and group theory, and developing the theory of complex systems and complex networks. His project is titled "Higher-Order Interactions in Group Isomorphism and Tensors."

Frongillo's research sits at the intersection of theoretical machine learning and economics, primarily focusing on domains such as information elicitation and crowdsourcing that involve the exchange of information for money, and drawing techniques from convex analysis, game theory, optimization and statistics. His project is titled "Information Elicitation in Algorithmic Economics and Machine Learning."

Huang's research focuses on ultrafast optics, nonlinear optics, nanophotonics and microscopy. His project is titled “Dual-comb Photoacoustic Microscopy with Super-resolution Wavefront Shaping.”

Chen's research focuses on geometric control theory, stochastic process, optimization and game theory. His project is titled “Resilient and Scalable Framework for Control of Multi-agent Systems: Ensemble Control of Network Motifs.”

Nicotra's primary research interest is the constrained control of nonlinear systems. His project is titled "Hypersampled Model Predictive Control: Reconciling Analog Systems with Digital Controllers."
