Finding Us

Coming to visit? It's easy to find us. The Engineering Center at CU Boulder is located at the corner of Colorado Avenue and Regent Drive, where it marks the eastern gateway to the Boulder campus. Below are driving and parking directions from common departure points.

  • Take I-25 north to US-36 west towards Boulder.
  • You'll pass two Boulder exits (Table Mesa, Baseline).
  • The highway curves north and becomes 28th Street.
  • At the next stop light, Colorado Avenue, take a left (going west).
  • Take the next left (going south) onto Regent Drive.
  • The Engineering Center is located on the west side of Regent Drive, across from the parking garage and the CU Police Department.
  • If you have a daily parking permit, take the next left into Lot 436, which includes the parking garage. Fill out your parking permit in ink and display it from your rear view mirror.
  • Otherwise, metered parking is available for $1.75 per hour, either along Regent Drive, in the lot south of the parking garage, in the small lot on the west side of Regent Drive, or in the larger lot further up Regent Drive.

  • Take Colo. 119 west towards Boulder.
  • Turn left (going south) on 28th Street.
  • You'll go through the following stop lights: Glenwood, Valmont, Mapleton, Pearl, Walnut, Canyon, and Arapahoe.
  • At the next stop light, Colorado Avenue, take a right (going west).
  • Take the next left (going south) onto Regent Drive.
  • The Engineering Center is located on the west side of Regent Drive, across from the parking garage and the CU Police Department.
  • If you have a daily parking permit, take the next left into Lot 436, which includes the parking garage. Fill out your parking permit in ink and display it from your rear view mirror.

  • Take Pena Blvd. (leaving the airport).
  • Pena Blvd. becomes I-70/US-36 west.
  • Take the I-270 north exit (#279) toward Ft. Collins.
  • Merge onto US-36 west towards Boulder.
  • You'll pass two Boulder exits (Table Mesa, Baseline).
  • The highway curves north and becomes 28th Street.
  • At the next stop light, Colorado Avenue, take a left (going west).
  • Take the next left (going south) onto Regent Drive.
