Did you know you can take the Buff Bus straight to East Campus for events, classes and meetings? Route ECX connects Williams Village to the Discovery Drive area. There are two stops: one at Williams Village and one at the SEEC building.

As of Sept. 24, CU Boulder has implemented campus building access plans that emphasize safety and building security while still providing convenient access. To ensure convenient access to the academic buildings you use, please make sure you carry your Buff OneCard at all times. The Academic Help Room in Will Vill East will only host tutors and support for physics from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27. There will be no applied math tutors available due to the Wednesday night exam schedule. Regular applied math help will resume normal hours on Thursday at 5 p.m. Check the event calendar for a full list of help room dates and times.

Student Leadership Summit at Engineering Connections

Throughout the semester, each department will host a series of major-specific dinners to foster your belonging in an academic community. Every first-year student is required to attend one dinner. Please check out the list of dinners and sign up for one that fits your schedule! 

If you are interested in co-creating fun and engaging events in Williams Village to support first-year engineering students, Joshua Yuen-Schat wants to collaborate with you to make them a reality! Please schedule a time to chat with him about your idea. He would love to connect with you virtually or in-person over coffee or tea! 

Professional academic advisors are your partners in crafting and enhancing your educational experience at CU. Take the initiative to connect with your academic advisor regularly so that you can make connections, access resources, understand your degree requirements and more. Visit Buff Portal Advising to make an individual appointment or to view their office hours for drop-in meetings. 

You may have an “advising hold” for an individual appointment, or group advising session, on your student account. These holds will prevent you from enrolling in classes for next semester, so you’ll want to connect with your advisor well ahead of your enrollment appointment. Now would be the perfect time to do so!  Resolving all holds and to-do items are important steps to attend to each term. And even if you don’t have an advising hold, your advisor would be happy to meet with you. After meeting with an advisor, you will receive a quick survey—we value your feedback and hope you will take a moment to let us know how we are doing!

Peer academic coaches are upper-class undergrads who have a passion for helping others. They undergo extensive, ongoing training by professional academic coaches. Meet this year’s coaches, starting with Josh! 

“I am a computer science major, and I wanted to be a Peer Academic Coach because I really enjoy helping others. As someone who has received academic coaching in the past, I’ve felt that it really helped me figure out what I need to do when facing an obstacle academically.
