Design Center Colorado (DCC) is a leading industry/education program within the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder.

DCC fosters engineering design education in collaboration with industry and government agency sponsors, to give undergraduate and graduate students real-world project experiences. Generally, teams of four to six students in undergrad, and three to four students in the graduate program, develop solutions under the supervision of faculty and industry mentors. Project work spans two consecutive semesters, delivering designed and tested functional hardware and documentation, on a best effort basis upon completion.

DCC includes:

Spaces for students to design and create class and personal projects

Financial and mentorship support for the annual Senior Design and Graduate Design projects

Coordination of sponsors for Senior Design and Graduate Design projects
