Looking for a way to connect with the CU Art museum while we’re closed this semester? Join staff and student employees as we take a sneak peek at some of the art we’ll be highlighting in an upcoming exhibition, The Art That Made Medicine. Experience museum programs from the comfort of your own space, enjoy conversations with other students and museum staff,  and receive care packages with materials designed to help you relax and create your own art.

Sunday October 25, 1:00 p.m.: An Afternoon 'at' the Museum

Take a little time to slow down and connect with art in a new way. Bring art that will be featured in an upcoming exhibition to life by creating your own backstory to the artworks through a series of roundtable discussions. Sign up by October 22 to receive a care package to help you relax during this program. This session will be led by the museum's student employees: Ella and Delainey

Sunday November 22, 1:00 p.m.: Our Mind’s Canvas

Colors often represent emotion in art. How did artists represent plague, the dead, and isolation in history in their art and how can we? Chat with museum staff about artwork related to the mind and trauma. Then spend some time channeling your own emotions into art. Sign up by November 20 to receive a care package to help you relax and create during the program. This session will be led by the museum's student employees: Ella and Sophia.
