The Certified Research Administrators (CRA) Study Group is designed for staff who want to expand their research knowledge base and for those who are interested in taking the CRA exam sponsored by the Research Administrators Certification Council. The CRA exam focuses on various topics relevant to the role of the research administrator.
Studying for the CRA greatly increases your depth of knowledge around all research administration topics, and completing your CRA provides validation of your subject matter expertise in this profession.
CRA Study Group Details
The Office of Contracts and Grants coordinates a CRA Study Group at the beginning of each semester. The group meets virtually on a weekly-basis for two months before the exam to go over CRA study materials located on the CRA Study Group Google website. Each session is one-hour, with 40-45 minutes of a topic-specific presentation from a CU Boulder CRA and 20-15 minutes of discussion, questions and/or practice quizzes.
We will begin our Spring 2024 CRA Study Group in March! We welcome participants from all institutions!
