Advising/Degree Audit

Below are the instructions to gain access to Campus Solutions and Degree Audit (DATC). Both systems are useful in working with your advisees and/or students in your class providing specific student information (grades, course info, phone numbers, email, etc.) and tracking degree progress. If you have additional questions, please contact me or refer to the Registrar’s CU-SIS Access page. If you have requested access before but no longer can login, let me know immediately so this can be fixed. 

Complete FERPA course. (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act)

Expected duration is 30 minutes. The completion and score will be recorded within 24 hours.

  • Log into the myCUInfo using your identikey and password.
  • Click the CU Resources tab, Training, and then Skillsoft box.
  • In Search Content box, enter course name (CU: FERPA for Faculty).
  • Locate course and click Launch.

Complete Intro to CU-SIS Campus Solutions.  

Expected duration is 45 minutes. The completion and score will be recorded within 24 hours.

  • Log into the myCUInfo using your identikey and password.
  • Click the CU Resources tab, Training, and then Skillsoft box.
  • In Search Content box, enter course name (Introduction to CU-SIS – Campus Solutions).
  • Locate course and click Launch.

Optional: Complete CU-SIS Campus Community

  • Log into the myCUInfo using your identikey and password.
  • Click the CU Resources tab, Training, and then Skillsoft box.
  • In Search Content box, enter course name (CU: CU-SIS Campus Community).
  • Locate course and click Launch.

Once the above training courses are complete, fill out the CU-SIS Access Request Form.

Section 1: User Information

Complete this section in its entirety.

  • HRMS Emplid: Employee ID
  • Leave CU-SIS Emplid and CU-SIS/HRMS OperID blank.
  • Department/Org/Office: College of Music (10362)
  • Employee Type: Faculty
  • Campus: CU Boulder Main
Section 2: Request Type
  • Access Request Type:  New User
  • System Access Requested: CU-SIS
  • Required Job Duties: faculty advisor; degree audit advising
Section 3: Training Requirements

Note: System access will not be provided until FERPA and CU-SIS training courses are complete.

Section 4: Required Signatures
  • Sign the User Signature box using your digital signature. Enter current date.
  • In the Supervisor/Sponsor Name box enter Victoria Ibarra, Victoria.Ibarra@colorado.edu.
  • Click on STEP 1: Submit form to Supervisor. Once I received the email I will forward to the correct coordinator.

Note: Robert Shay is your Supervisor though I’m the listed Sponsor since I monitor the submission of forms for the CoM.  You will be notified by the Registrar Office once your access is approved and active.

Early Alert

Have you noticed a student with three or more unexcused absences, multiple late or missed homework assignments, and or low scoring exams/quizzes? Our office wants to know about these students. Progress report requests are also handled by this confidential method.  Use your CU email address when accessing the form or it will give you an error message.

  3. Click on Organizational Google Apps Account
  4. Enter – CU password

Contact a piano technician

Our piano technicians maintain and manage tuning of the College of Music’s 115 pianos, including two 9-foot Steinways in Grusin Music Hall, one 9-foot Hamburg Steinway in the Chamber Hall, one 9-foot Steinway in Macky Auditorium and one 7-foot Steinway in the Music Theatre. If you wish or to use a piano in a recital or if a piano requires maintenance, contact the piano technicians.
