The San Francisco Business Times has published their list of the Most Influential Women in Bay Area Business class of 2021. Congratulations to 1987 CU Boulder architectural engineering graduate Susie See for being named on the list!

The Colorado Association of Stormwater and Floodplain Managers (CASFM) is offering a $2,500 scholarship for one undergraduate and one graduate, and the application deadline is October 29.

Eligible programs of study include, but are not limited to, hydrology, hydraulics, watershed management, floodplain management, stormwater management, stormwater quality, emergency response, meteorology and climatology. More information is available here.

Winners also receive the opportunity for complimentary attendance and lodging at our annual conference, which is a fantastic opportunity for any student contemplating a career in water resources. Next year’s conference is in mid-September in Steamboat Springs.

The deadline for the ACI Foundation’s fellowship and scholarship program is fast approaching. The awards are available to students in full time concrete related degree programs. The foundation oversees a number of scholarships, but the Roger S. Johnston Memorial Scholarship will be of particular interest to CU Boulder students, as first preference is given to students in Colorado or Wyoming who are active student members of the Rocky Mountain Chapter – ACI.
