The CEAE Department recognizes outstanding graduates who have demonstrated excellence in areas of academics, research, service and international engagement. 

The December 2018 CEAE Department Award Recipients Are:

  • Nicola Van Den Heever  - CEAE Outstanding Graduate Eckel Award
  • Bridger Minnick  - CEAE Eckel Award 1st Runner-Up
  • Andrew Dahm - CEAE Eckel Award 2nd Runner-Up
  • Austin Riley - Outstanding CEAE Graduate for International Engagement
  • Christina Sawaya - Outstanding CEAE Graduate for Service

Nikki van den Heever and Austin Riley were also selected to receive the December 2018 College of Engineering and Applied Science Outstanding Graduate awards. Nikky was selected as the December 2018 Outstanding Graduate of the College for her overall strength in academics, service and research, while Austin was selected as the Outstanding Graduate for International Engagement. Both were recognized at the Engineering Graduation Ceremony on December 20th where Nikki gave a fantastic speech. You can watch them on the College of Engineering recorded livestream.
