When You Can Add
You may add classes through the student portal during your assigned enrollment dates, the schedule adjustment period and the open enrollment period.
You're strongly encouraged to add your classes before the last day to add a class in the student portal (see the calendar below) to ensure timely review of your financial aid and COF eligibility, and timely processing of your tuition and fee bill. Classes added after the add deadline will not receive COF funding unless the class was added late due to a university error.
After the last day to add a class in the student portal, you need instructor and/or department permission (requirements vary by department) to add a class to your schedule. Late adds are typically only approved if the class has space available and you've been attending class regularly.
How to Add
If you're an auditor, CU employee or high school student, or if you're taking CU Boulder classes through ACCESS or an exchange or intercampus enrollment program, go to Registration Programs to review your program-specific registration and enrollment requirements.
