Because CU Boulder is a state entity and is bound by the laws and Constitution of the State of Colorado, only specific entities within the state are authorized to accept indemnification. OCG is not authorized to provide indemnity on awards that are accepted under OCG’s authority. As a non-profit, public, governmental, institution of higher education, primarily performing research, CU Boulder does not cover sponsor loss. We can agree to be responsible for our negligent acts or omissions as covered under CU Boulder’s self-insurance policy.
