July was an exceptionally busy month for incoming research awards. That trend is expected to continue as we move into the Federal fiscal year end (September 30). All sponsored awards must be processed, reviewed and negotiated through the Office of Contracts and Grants (OCG), before Sponsored Projects Accounting can set these awards up in the financial system.
OCG staff is working diligently to move these awards through as quickly as possible and respond to emails and requests. If you have any exigencies during this time, please send them to your appropriate OCG contact with ‘URGENT’ in the subject line. We will make every effort to handle these as quickly as possible.
