NSF Proposes New Submission Window for some Programs
NSF’s Directorate for Computer and Information Science and Engineering sent out a Dear Colleague Letter (DCL) on May 13, 2015 proposing changes for the submission windows for some of its programs.
The affected programs are the following CISE core programs (from NSF 14-598), and also Secure and Trustworthy Cyberspace (NSF 14-599):
- Algorithmic Foundations
- Communication and Information Foundations
- Computer Systems Research
- Cyber-Human Systems
- Information Integration and Informatics
- Networking Technology and Systems
- Robust Intelligence
- Software and Hardware Foundations
The proposed new submission windows for the above-referenced programs (but NOT the CISE CAREER or CISE Research Initiation Initiative, or any core program not in the above list) are September 2015 for medium and large proposals, and November 2015 for small proposals. These dates may change again next year, because NSF will be re-issuing the program solicitations.
