Team 04: 3 Blade Broadhead
Abstract
The durability, strength, and accuracy of a bowhunter's broadhead affects the outcome of a hunt. Iron Will Outfitters is optimizing a 3-blade broadhead focusing on blade retention, durability, and force to penetrate. To quantify performance, the design is tested against competitors for performance using real and synthetic materials, while flight characteristics are evaluated using CFD.
