About the meeting: The MechBio symposium is a specialized interdisciplinary meeting centered around the theme of fostering convergence across the variety of techniques in modern mechanobiology research: theory, experiments, imaging and computations. Mechanical signals are generated, transmitted, and converted into biological signals across a range of spatial and temporal scales, and convergence of ideas juxtaposed within this multiscale paradigm will comprise a key thematic area.
We have an exciting technical program planned for the 2024 symposium. Here is a sneak peek into the program events!
- Invited Keynote Speeches: renowned experts across a variety of disciplines providing perspective keynote talks on interdisciplinary mechanobiology research.
- Front Range Mechanobiology Expertise: renowned experts from leading Front Range research institutions will come together to showcase local research expertise and collaborations.
- Single-track Scientific Sessions: all scientific presentations to be organized in a single-track scientific session format, encouraging holistic participation and audience interaction.
- Student Poster Competition: a platform for graduate and undergraduate trainees to showcase their research, and present their work to experts in the field.
- Collaboration Power Hour: special event to foster exchange of scientific ideas and sharing of expertise at a level that goes beyond the scientific presentations that are planned throughout the conference.
- Student and Early-career Networking: a dedicated social event to promote professional networking and interactions with a focus on trainees and early-career members of the community.
