Research & Innovation Office Faculty Fellow and mechanical engineering Assistant Professor Greg Rieker explained how our ability to decipher light signals from distant worlds is helping humans understand the stories of those planets. His talk was titled, "Decoding the Stories of Distant Planets."

Seven additional fellows presented on topics, including wildfires, co-design in education, the Bible and political implications, grieving and the brain, solar energy, youth dance performance and transforming relationships between museums and native peoples.
