When Devin Lindsey came to CU Boulder as an environmental engineering major three years ago, he didn’t expect to be leaving as a nuclear reactor engineer for the U.S. Navy.

Five years ago, Cassandra Goodby sketched out her first website mockups at the T9Hacks hackathon. Now she’s the lead organizer for the hackathon, a master’s student in the Creative Technologies and Design (CTD) track of the Technology, Media & Society program in the ATLAS Institute, and a professional user experience specialist for NIST, the National Institute for Standards and Technology. The University of Colorado Boulder College of Engineering and Applied Science has been selected to host the National Society of Black Engineers National Leadership Conference in 2020 and 2021. The conference is NSBE’s premier training program for approximately 250 national and regional officers who spend four days focused on leadership training and skill-building.

CU Boulder’s manufacturing class has been revamped to bring the manufacturing process to life for students with input from industry representatives.
