The ProReady initiative is an easy and flexible formula for career success for CU Engineering students. Use the ProReady website to connect with internship opportunities, undergraduate research programs, global experiences and more. No matter your major, year in school or background, you can start becoming ProReady at any time.

Professional academic advisors are your partners in crafting and enhancing your educational experience at CU. Take the initiative to connect with your academic advisor regularly so that you can make connections, access resources, understand your degree requirements and more.  Visit Buff Portal Advising to make an individual appointment or to view their office hours for drop-in meetings. 

You may have an “advising hold” for an individual appointment, or group advising session, on your student account. These holds will prevent you from enrolling in classes for next semester, so you’ll want to connect with your advisor well ahead of your enrollment appointment. Now would be the perfect time to do so!  Resolving all holds and to-do items are important steps to attend to each term. And even if you don’t have an advising hold, your advisor would be happy to meet with you. After meeting with an advisor, you will receive a quick survey—we value your feedback and hope you will take a moment to let us know how we are doing!

In the Engineering Connections Life Design Lab, you will use the design-thinking process to customize a college experience that best aligns with who you are and what you hope to get from college. In a collaborative environment, you’ll explore your own unique interests and create plans to achieve your goals

Throughout the semester, each department will host a series of major-specific dinners to foster your belonging in an academic community. Every first-year student is required to attend one dinner. Please check out the list of dinners and sign up for one that fits your schedule!

Did you know that free peer academic coaching is available for all undergraduate students in the College of Engineering & Applied Science? Meet with a current engineering student to learn a new organizational tool or learning strategy! 

Peer academic coaches are trained by the Academic Success Team to offer you support and help you explore effective time, learning and priority management strategies. All students can sign up for appointments on Main Campus in the Engineering Success Hub (ENCW 156) or at Engineering Connections (Will Vill North 145). Drop-in times are also available! 

Ever heard of productive procrastination? It’s doing something that is good for you and gives you a break from the regular grind. Here’s your opportunity for just that!

Join us for any of these free workshops hosted by our Academic Success Team and peer coaches to learn actions you can take right now to reach your academic goal this semester!  

BOLD tutoring services are free and available to all CU Engineering students. They offer in-person drop-in tutoring and appointment-based tutoring in calculus, physics, computer science and more. 

Looking for homework help, tutoring or exam prep for your applied math or physics courses? The Academic Help Room is now available in Will Vill East classroom E103. Check the event calendar for dates and times.
