Data Science & Engineering Sub-plan Requirements
Students enrolled in DSE sub plan must fulfill the following requirements:
- Total 30 credits of graduate level approved coursework required
- Three breadth courses (9 credits) – must earn a B or better grade
- Must complete at least 12 credits of sub-plan courses from the list below – must earn a B or better grade
- Studnets may count the same course towards DSE sub plan and Breadth requirement.
- Students may take up to two non-CS approved classes
- Any non-CS courses under the sub-plan listing counts against the TWO allowable non-CS classes.
You must get a grade of at least a B or better in all DS and/or DE courses to fulfill the requirement. Courses of interest should be chosen in collaboration with your academic advisor and included in the MS Plan of Study.
