Olivia Wilburn

Olivia is a 2nd year Mechanical Engineering PhD Student, and a Graduate Research fellow through the Mortenson Center. Olivia does not yet have global work experience but is incredibly involved in her local community. She coaches her university club hockey team, helps at a local summer camp, and has experience planning fundraisers for a local scholarship program.
She is particularly interested in exploring sustainable infrastructure and climate-change resilience, as well as integrating ethical, interdisciplinary approaches from mechanical engineering to address global humanitarian and sustainability challenges. In her free time, she loves backpacking, snowboarding, and hanging out with her dog Banjo.
