Artak Piloyan

Artak is working on his Online Graduate Certificate in Global Engineering through the Mortenson Center. He holds a Doctoral degree in Geography and has more than 17 years of professional and academic experience in GIScience, Remote Sensing, geospatial data infrastructures (NSDI/INSPIRE), thematic mapping, and Digital Earth applications for environmental management, disaster risk reduction, urban informatics, and sustainable development.
Artak is interested in studying water engineering by applying technical solutions to global development contexts. He is a big fan of European football (soccer) and used to play regularly. He’s also a cinephile who enjoys exploring a wide range of films.
