ClinicalTrials.gov
ClinicalTrials.gov is a registry and results database of publicly and privately supported clinical studies of human participants conducted around the world. The purpose of ClinicalTrials.gov is to provide information about clinical research studies to the public, researchers, and health care professionals. The U.S. government does not review or approve the safety and science of all studies listed on this website.
For reporting purposes for CU Boulder researchers, the responsible party for a clinical trial on ClinicalTrials.govis the Principal Investigator (PI). The responsible party must:
- Register the trial
- Submit results information
- Ensure the trial is updated at required intervals
- Release the trial to the public database
- Address major comments within 15 days
