Note:  The award document is the final authority for all award reporting requirements. Sponsors expect timely submission of sponsored project reports. Contact OCG if you have any questions.

Reporting Requirements

  • Annual Report - Due 60 days prior to the anniversary date of the grant.
  • Final Summary of Research - Due 120 days after the end date of the grant
  • Final Summary of Research Cover Page - Due 120 days after the end of the grant. OCG will assist in the completion of this cover page.
  • Final New Technology Summary Report - Due 120 days after the end of the grant. OCG will submit via NASA's e-NTR site

Submit to:  NSSC-Grant-Report@mail.nasa.gov - for annual reports, NSSC-Closeout@mail.nasa.gov - for final reports.

Reporting Requirements

  • Annual Report (RPPR) - Due 45 days prior to the anniversary date of the grant. Specific due date is available via eRA Commons.
  • Final Report (FPPR) - Due 120 days after the end date of the grant.
  • Final Patent Report - Due 120 days after the end date of the grant. OCG will assist in the submission of the patent report.

Submit via:  eRA Commons. All reports must be submitted by a designated signing official. Betty Rasmussen is the Compliance Deliverables Officer. All reports should be routed to her for review and submittal after completion by the PI.

Copy to:  OCG will download a copy of the report and save it to the award record in BeRA.

Template available? No. This is an online system and the report will be created directly in eRA Commons by the PI. Additional information on NIH report submittals is available on the NIH website.

Reporting Requirements

  • Interim Performance / Progress reporting requirements for NOAA awards are defined in the award document. Consult the award document or check with OCG Deliverables.
  • Final Reports - A comprehensive performance / progress report must be submitted within 120 days after award expiration. The report shallcover the entire project period from the start date through the end date of the original award, or approved extended end date of the award.

IMPORTANT UPDATE:  All NOAA progress reports are now submitted via eRA Commons. PI or DRA must have an eRA Commons ID with approrpiate permissions to submit reports.

Submitted via:  eRA Commons. PI, OCG, approved Department Administrator or Grant Account may submit reports using the eRA Commons system with a valid eRA Commons ID. Directions for submitting NOAA Grants Online reports are available in PDF format. 

Copy to:  OCG Reports (ocgreports@colortorado.edu). The file will be uploaded to the award record in BeRA.

Reporting Requirements

  • Annual Report - Due at least 3 months prior to the end of the current reporting period. The deadline for annual report submission is on the final day of the reporting period.
  • Final Report - Due 120 days after the end date of the grant.
  • Outcomes - Due 120 days after the end date of the grant

Copy to:  OCG will download a copy of the report and save it to the award record in BeRA.

Template available?  No. This is an online system and the report will be created directly in the STScI website.

Reporting Requirements

  • Annual Performance / Progress reporting requirements will be provided directly to the PI by the Education Program Contact with information about report submissions including the due date for the report(s).
  • Final Reports - A comprehensive performance / progress report must be submitted within 90 days after award expiration. The report shall cover the entire project period from the start date through the end date of the original award, or approved extended end date of the award.

Submitted via: G5 (PI must submit but OCG Deliverables must sign the cover page of the report)
