Applications are currently being accepted to participate in the Boulder Laboratories' National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) program. This program is for students majoring in science, mathematics and engineering. The 11-week NIST SURF Boulder Program will run from May 16 to July 29, 2016.

Applications to participate are accepted only from colleges or universities and not from individual students. CU-Boulder students interested in applying need to provide the following items listed below to Sharon Anderson in the College of Engineering and Applied Science no later than 5 p.m. on February 4. Please note that the unusual nature of this application process, individual materials are due prior to the actual NIST deadline. Materials received after February 5 cannot be considered for this round of submissions.
