2019 CU Football tickets now on sale through the GBMB!
The 2019 CU football season is right around the corner and discounted tickets ARE NOW ON SALE!! ALL PROCEEDS FOR TICKET SALES go to supporting student scholarships for the “Golden Buffalo” Marching Band and all tickets are first come, first served.
To request to purchase tickets to the CU football games and support the “Golden Buffalo” Marching Band, follow this link to the Google Form to request tickets.
ALL tickets must be paid for and picked up 2 additional business days after submitting this request. After that time, you forfeit your hold on the tickets, and the tickets will be returned to the pool for purchase.
Bring cash or a check (made out to: University of Colorado) for the total amount due to Laura Graham, Ensembles Assistant, in Carlson 206CC.

Monday-Friday 2:30pm - 5:30pm

Kaitlyn Turnbull to return for the 2019 GBMB season!
Kaitlyn has served as CU’s Feature Twirler for three years and is returning to this position during the 2019 season! She has been twirling since the age of five and dancing since age three. Kaitlyn competed internationally for three tours and won a bronze medal as well as three national titles. Kaitlyn says she is “ready for her senior season with the Golden Buffalo Marching Band! Sko Buffs!” Kaitlyn comes from Clovis, California where she was the Feature Twirler for four years in the Buchanan High School Marching Band.
Kirsten Huffman reappointed as CU's 2019 Colorguard Instructor
The "Golden Buffalo" Marching Band announces that Kirsten Huffman has been reappointed to serve as the CU Colorguard Instructor once again during the 2019 season!! Kirsten brings expertise gained through her high school experiences as well as her numerous Winterguard activities including, but not limited to, her work with the Blue Knights, and we're excited that Kirsten will continue leading our CU Colorguard with her knowledge and experience this coming year. Please join us in welcoming Kirsten back to the CU "Golden Buffalo" Marching Band staff.

2019 Music will be made available for all woodwind and brass players
Sheet music for woodwind and brass players will be posted on the GBMB Music Files page linked below for you to view, download and print. Available sheet music is listed by parts and includes CU School Songs as well as music selections from the 2019 Pregame Show. Music for the halftime shows will also be posted on this page once it is available. In advance of Band Camp, all 2019 GBMB new and returning wind players must prepare the CU Alma Mater, Glory Colorado, Go Colorado, and Fight CU (these last three combine to create the Fight Song Sequence). For those instruments with multiple parts, please use the 1st part in your preparations. A link to the GBMB Music Files page is below:

Attendance & Enrollment
NO PAPER ABSENCE OR CLASS CONFLICT FORMS ACCEPTED THIS YEAR
During the 2019 season, the GBMB will accept only the online absence forms and/or class conflict forms. For all expected and/or unexpected absences from required GBMB activities, please complete the online Absence Form. For all anticipated class conflicts, please complete the online Class Conflict Form. All attendance and class conflict information submitted via thiese forms will be collected by Dr. Dockendorf and your attendance liason. Your GBMB Attendance liaison is Graduate Assistant, Dylan Koester.
Enrolling in Marching Band through Continuing Education
Anyone not currently a degree-seeking student at CU can participate in the Golden Buffalo Marching Band by enrolling through Continuing Education.
