Songya Kesler is a three-time Silicon Valley entrepreneur with business experience spanning North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. Her expertise sits at the intersection of team development, leadership, and business strategy. She currently lives in Boulder, CO, and is the managing director of a coaching and consulting company that offers executive coaching, team coaching, and leadership consulting. Her clients are founders and tech leadership teams with 30 to 3,000 employees, addressing a range of industries from SAAS to health-/space-/finance-/food-tech. 

She works closely with managers and their teams to develop the necessary leadership competencies to reach their next significant milestone. Songya helps individuals to develop key leadership skills and self-awareness to uncover who they are and what they want so they can lead with confidence, certainty and authenticity. She helps businesses to design and deliver leadership training programs that increase employee engagement, motivation, and overall productivity.

She believes in the positive impact that CU Boulder students can have on our world and wants to equip them with the necessary interpersonal skills to effectively drive change. She most enjoys working with innovators and disruptors that strive towards a calmer, more equal, and more beautiful world. She is a champion for gentle ambition and cautions against burnout culture and busyness as a status symbol. Working and learning with Songya means looking yourself in the mirror and seeing reality clearly, visioning your ideal future, and strategizing on the gap.

Songya is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC). She received two engineering degrees from Stanford University and her MBA from the University of Cambridge Judge Business School. She recently moved back to the US from Germany and currently lives with her family in Boulder, CO. You might see her around town at the pottery studio, a yoga or pilates class, or on a hike.
