This project will collate existing information about climate change threats to several iconic National Parks in the American Southwest, and present it in an easy-to-access way using a multi-media platform so that decision-makers can better understand the harmful effects of climate change in their region. The platform, Story Maps, combines the use of blog posts, photographs, videos, and external links in one simple portal. Policy recommendations will be developed and included to help community leaders develop actions that could prevent or mitigate areas faced with climate change impacts such as drought or greater possibility of wildfire.
