Ocean exploration still remains limited by the efficiency and maneuverability of uncrewed underwater vehicles (UUVs). Our team developed a next-generation UUV integrating four bio-inspired pectoral fin mechanisms with interchangeable configurations. This testing platform supports our team sponsor, The Xu Lab, in their research to develop increasingly capable aquatic propulsion systems.
