Team 27: Automated Medical Aliquoting Device
Abstract
Automated medical aliquoting requires precision, sterility, attention to safety and usability. Working with Terumo BCT, our team designed a user-focused system which employs a rotational fluid distribution system to increase throughput, eliminate costly electric equipment, improve ease of use, minimize waste and excess costs. These advances will increase patients' access to life-saving therapies.
