Team 23: Siemens Gamesa
Abstract
In partnership with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, our team developed an Ultra-Wideband sensing system to measure the deflections of turbine blades during transportation. Throughout the research and prototyping process, models and a camera tracking system were developed to validate design decisions. Signal processing techniques like Kalman filtering were also explored.The project provided valuable insights, key learnings and more.
