Team 23: Package Drop Tester
Abstract
Our team is supporting Micro Motion’s goal to rapidly test sustainable packaging options on-site. We accomplished this by designing and building a specialized drop-test machine featuring adjustable drop height and flexible package orienting capabilities. The machine is intuitive, repeatable, safe, and will be a valuable tool for Micro Motion packaging engineers for years to come.
